Le 17 février 2024 restera gravé dans les mémoires des amateurs de musique extrême, avec un concert Sold Out qui a secoué les fondations de la salle. Les têtes d’affiche, Lionheart, Suicide Silence, Kublai Khan et l’émergent Paleface Swiss , ont livrés des performances intenses, chacune apportant sa propre dynamique à cette soirée mémorable.
February 17, 2024 will remain etched in the memories of extreme music fans, with a Sold Out concert that shook the foundations of the venue. Headliners Lionheart, Suicide Silence, Kublai Khan and up-and-coming Paleface Swiss delivered intense performances, each
their own unique dynamic to the memorable evening.
**Paleface Swiss déchaîne les passions en ouverture **
C’est Paleface Swiss qui ouvre le bal en démarrant son set avec l’excellent titre Please end me qui annonce la couleur de suite, propulsant le public dans un tourbillon de fureur, d’enthousiasme et de rage instantanément, ils ont enchaîné tout le set avec des titres puissant tel que Best Before : Death (sûrement la chanson où mes besoins de violences ont été les plus exacerbés), Nail to The tooth , The Gallow , nouveau titre où un énorme circle pit s’est formé, et pour cause, comme l’a dit Zelli, c’est la première fois en France que ce morceau est joué, the orphan et on fini le set avec l’incroyable suppressing times , set de trente minutes beaucoup trop court, mais intense, si intense, le pit était déchaîné, les wall of death se sont enchainés , c’était beau, c’était puissant mais c’était malgré tout trop court!!!
**Paleface Swiss unleash the passions in their opening set **
Paleface Swiss opens the concert , kicking off their set with the excellent track « Please end me », which immediately set the tone, propelling the audience into a whirlwind of fury, enthusiasm and instant rage. They followed this up throughout the set with powerful tracks such as « Best Before : Death » (surely the song where my need for violence was most exacerbated), « Nail to The tooth », « the Gallow », a new track where a huge circle pit was formed, and for good reason: as Zelli said, this is the first time this piece has been played in France, « the orphan » and they finished the set with the incredible « suppressing times », a thirty-minute set that was far too short, but intense, so intense, the pit was unleashed, wall of death after wall of death, it was beautiful, it was powerful, but it was still too short!!!
**Kublai Khan maintient le cap avec force **
Kublai Khan a pris la relève, démarrant avec « The Hammer » le meilleur titre selon moi, ce qui m’a mise dans l’incompréhension quant au choix de le mettre en premier. Les aboiements ont retenti et le pit était encore en forme à ce moment de la soirée, le groupe a maintenu le rythme avec des titres tels que « True Fear » et « Eyes up ». Malgré une performance de qualité, la répétitivité a laissé certains spectateurs sur leur faim, bien que l’énergie du public ait continué de soutenir le groupe.
**Kublai Khan stays the course strongly **
Kublai Khan took over, kicking things off with « The Hammer », the best track in my opinion, which put me in a quandary as to why they chose to put it first. The barks rang out and the pit was still going strong at this point in the evening, as the band kept up the pace with tracks such as « True Fear » and « Eyes up ». Despite a quality performance, the repetitiveness left some of the audience wanting more, although the energy of the crowd continued to support the band.
**Suicide Silence surmonte une panne de courant avec brio **
Suicide Silence monte sur scène dans une chaleur étouffante et avec un public en furie!!! Ils démarrent leur set avec le titre Unanswered . Un petit signe vers le ciel est dirigé pour Mitch Lucker juste avant you only live once où un circle pit monstrueux bouffe la salle, c’est à la fin de ce titre qu’une panne de courant intervient, n’entamant en rien la ferveur du public ou du groupe, Eddie Hermida nous dit « too much Metal » ont fait sauté les plombs, il nous fait marrer et fait en sorte de garder notre attention et notre énergie, pari réussi on boit ses paroles et on reste sur les starting-blocks, ce qui tombe bien car quand l’électricité revient et que le groupe nous balance à la tronche fuck everything nos majeurs sont haut dans le ciel et les pits beaux et violents reprennent! Quand love me to death commence je suis presque en transe, et pour cause c’est mon morceau préféré, ils enchaînent avec le fou et intemporel disengage, s’en suit le nouveau et très attendu titre you must Die , sur wake up Eddie nous fait chanter, Fucked for Life nous fait transpirer et le concert se termine sur No Pity for a coward ce qui nous donne l’occasion de se déchaîner une dernière fois avec Suicide silence. Merveilleuse prestation, sans nul doute le meilleur concert de la soirée pour beaucoup!
Techniquement le show est parfait, une violence sonore sans concession mais maîtrisée, vocalement impressionnant, le groupe pue le charisme et le public était en furie.
**Suicide Silence overcomes a power cut with verve **
Suicide Silence take to the stage in sweltering heat and with a furious audience!!!! They kick off their set with the track « unanswered ». A little sign to the heavens is directed to Mitch Lucker just before « you only live once » where a monstrous circle pit eats up the room, it’s at the end of this track that a power failure intervenes, in no way denting the fervor of the audience or the band, Eddie Hermida tells us « too much metal » have blown the fuses, He makes us laugh and makes sure to keep our attention and our energy, and we worship his word and stay on our toes, which is just as well, because when the electricity comes back on and the band throws « fuck everything » in our faces, our middle fingers are high in the sky and the beautiful, violent pits start up again! When « love me to death » starts, I’m almost in a trance, and for good reason, it’s my favorite track. They follow it up with the crazy and timeless « disengage », then the new and long-awaited « you must die », on « wake up » Eddie makes us sing, « Fucked for Life » makes us sweat, and the concert ends with « No Pity for a coward », giving us the opportunity to go wild one last time with Suicide silence. A marvellous performance, undoubtedly the best concert of the evening for many!
Technically, the show was perfect, with uncompromising but controlled sonic violence, vocally impressive, the band had charisma, and the audience went wild.
**Lionheart clôture la soirée en beauté **
Lionheart la tête d’affiche de ce soir commence son set avec le titre Cali stomp , Rob Watson arrive sur scène tel un conquérant, le groupe compte bien enflammer le public qui ne semble pas fatigué , il en faut plus pour nous achever. Le groupe est brutal et on a le sentiment d’un esprit de grande fraternité sur scène. Lionheart est puissant, mais soyons honnête, bien moins brutal ou excitant que les groupes précédents, l’énergie est différente, mais pas moins bonne. Le groupe enchaîne des titres tel que hail Mary , burn , live by the gun . La recette de Lionheart est efficace même si très gentille. Après tant d’énergie dépensée, les corps fatigués et meurtris de la fosse, donnent tout ce qui leur reste sur les deux derniers morceaux fight for your right et Lhhc .
**Lionheart closes the evening in style **
Tonight’s headliner Lionheart kicks off his set with the track « Cali stomp », Rob Watson arrives on stage like a conqueror, the band intent on inflaming the audience, who doesn’t seem tired , and it takes more than that to finish us off. The band is brutal, and there’s a feeling of great brotherhood on stage. Lionheart is powerful, but let’s be honest, it’s not as brutal or exciting as the previous bands; the energy is different, but no less good. The band strings together tracks such as « hail Mary » « burn » « live by the gun ». Lionheart’s recipe is effective, if very gentle. After so much energy, the tired and bruised bodies in the pit give everything they’ve got on the last two tracks, « fight for your right » and « Lhhc ».
En conclusion, cette soirée Sold Out a offert un mélange éclectique de Hardcore et de Deathcore, chaque groupe apportant sa propre touche à cette expérience musicale inoubliable. Des émotions, de l’énergie et une ferveur indescriptible ont marqués cette nuit, faisant de ce concert un moment exceptionnel qu’aucun amateur de musique extrême ne pouvait se permettre de manquer.

In conclusion, this Sold Out evening offered an eclectic mix of hardcore and deathcore, with each band bringing its own touch to this unforgettable musical experience. Emotion, energy and indescribable fervor were the hallmarks of the night, making this an exceptional concert that no extreme music fan could afford to miss.
