Vexed, le groupe anglais de Metal Alternatif, a débuté son set avec le titre Anti-Fetish, captivant instantanément le public. J’avais hâte de voir ce groupe ! Pour beaucoup, il s’agissait d’une introduction passionnante au groupe. Le charisme de Megan et sa voix impressionnante ont dominés la scène, alors qu’elle remerciait le public d’être là, soulignant que c’était la première fois qu’ils venaient en France. Quand X my <3 a commencé, c’était l’apogée du set pour moi ! Ils ont conclu avec l’excellent Nepotism. C’était un set parfait, débordant d’une énergie incroyable. Je n’ai pas pu résister à l’envie de me procurer leur merch ! Ce groupe est vraiment de bien trop grande qualité pour une simple première partie !
English alternative metal band Vexed kicked off their set with the track Anti-Fetish, instantly captivating the audience. I couldn’t wait to see this band! For many, it was an exciting introduction to the band. Megan‘s charisma and impressive voice dominated the stage, as she thanked the audience for being there, pointing out that it was their first time in France. When X my <3 started, it was the highlight of the set for me! They closed with the excellent Nepotism. It was a perfect set, brimming with incredible energy. I couldn’t resist buying their merch! This band is way too good for a simple opening act!
Le groupe belge de Brutal Death Metal Aborted a démarré son set avec la chanson Retrogore, alors que des puits de fumée sortaient du sol de la scène, initiant un circle pit à la demande de Sven dès le début. La salle était déjà plus remplie que celle du groupe précédent, mais en voyant les slams on sent quand même bien que tout le public n’est pas arrivé. Sven a invité le public à les rejoindre sur scène, ce qui a donné lieu à des moments surprenants, notamment une fille qui est restée collée à son téléphone pour prendre des selfies, suivie d’un gars qui a fait de même, et d’un autre individu qui a fait du air guitar avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme. Il est évident que le public français est à la ramasse et manque de respect.
Sven a fait des blagues et a demandé avec humour s’il y avait un bassiste dans la salle. Pendant l’interprétation de Threading on Vermillion Deception, le groupe a lancé un ballon gonflable dans la fosse, provoquant un chaos ludique rappelant les jeux d’enfants jusqu’à la fin du concert, qui s’est conclu par The Saw and the Carnage Done.
Personnellement j’ai assisté à ce concert avec un peu de « c’est lourd » dans la tête mais le public lui était conquis.
Belgian brutal death metal band Aborted kicked off their set with the song Retrogore, as shafts of smoke emerged from the stage floor, initiating a circle pit at Sven’s request right from the start. The room was already fuller than the previous band’s, but seeing the slams it was clear that not all the audience had arrived. Sven invited the audience to join them on stage, which led to some surprising moments, including a girl who stayed glued to her phone to take selfies, followed by a guy who did the same, and another individual who played air guitar with great enthusiasm. It’s obvious that the French audience is a mess and lacks respect.
Sven made jokes and humorously asked if there was a bass player in the room. During the performance of Threading on Vermillion Deception, the band threw an inflatable ball into the pit, causing playful chaos reminiscent of children’s games until the end of the concert, which concluded with The Saw and the Carnage Done.
Personally, I went into this concert with a bit of a « this is heavy » feeling in my head, but the audience was won over.
Revocation, groupe américain de Trash et Death Metal, entame son set avec le titre Diabolical Majesty, mais malheureusement, la voix de Dan est presque inaudible. Malgré cela, le public headbangue tout au long du set et quelques slams timides se font sentir. David exprime sa joie d’être de nouveau en France, mais malgré la technicité impeccable du groupe, l’aspect émotionnel me manque. C’est carré, c’est impeccable, le public est subjugué à chaque solo mais ça ne provoque pas l’envie de bagarre! Le set se clôture sur Of Unworldly Origin.
American trash and death metal band Revocation kick off their set with Diabolical Majesty, but unfortunately Dan‘s vocals are almost inaudible. David expresses his joy at being back in France, but despite the band’s impeccable technical skills, I miss the emotional aspect. It’s square, it’s impeccable, the audience is transfixed by each solo, but it doesn’t provoke the desire to fight! The set closes with Of Unworldly Origin.
Dès l’instant où Carnifex, le groupe de Deathcore américain, est monté sur scène, l’énergie a explosée dans la salle. Ils ont commencé avec Dark Days, et Scott a immédiatement demandé un circle pit, ce que la fosse a exécuté avec ferveur, comme à chaque titre du set.

Le concert a atteint son apogée avec le titre emblématique Slit Wrist Savior, où Carnifex a terminé le set de manière mémorable, remerciant le public pour leur soutien sur cette tournée. C’était vraiment un show exceptionnel, plein d’énergie et de passion.
From the moment American deathcore band Carnifex took to the stage, the energy in the room exploded. They opened with Dark Days, and Scott immediately called for a circle pit, which the crowd executed with fervor, as they did for every song in the set.
Their live performance was spectacular, especially with their new song Heaven and Hell All at Once, sublime! On Infinite Night Terror, Scott directed the crowd by asking everyone to raise their hands, but above all to form a circle pit. And on Dark Heart Ceremony, the crowd sang along to the chorus, creating a very pleasant atmosphere of sisterhood and brotherhood.
Scott‘s infectious energy was palpable throughout the set, especially when he launched into Hatred and Slaughter by asking the pit to move to shake the room, every time he said « jump ». The crowd responded enthusiastically, jumping and moving in all directions.
The concert reached its climax with the iconic track Slit Wrist Savior, where Carnifex ended the set in memorable fashion, thanking the audience for their support on this tour. It was truly an exceptional show, full of energy and passion.

The epic concert featuring Carnifex, Révocation, Aborted and Vexed was an insane experience. Each band delivered an intense, energetic performance, captivating the audience with their musical talent and stage presence. Mosh pits, screams and applause filled the moulin rouge! The evening will be remembered as a celebration of the power and diversity of modern metal.
