[ENGLISH BELOW] Ce soir, c’est le concert parisien de Cloudy June, avec en première partie KiNG MALA. On sent l’excitation du public, chantant en chœur quelques classiques comme Bohemian Rhapsody et Maniac, en attendant l’arrivée de Cloudy June sur scène. Tout le monde chante, rit, danse et est vraiment présent dans l’instant.
KiNG MALA
Quand la soirée commence avec KiNG MALA (Areli Castro), la foule est déjà surexcitée et prête à profiter du show. Areli nous fait savoir que c’est sa première fois en France et on sent que la foule veut lui montrer que nous sommes un super public.
Dès le début, on sent que les gens présents connaissent bien KiNG MALA et sa musique, et cela se confirme lorsque l’artiste demande « qui a déjà entendu ma musique » et que la majorité de l’audience lève la main. Ils connaissent les chansons et chantent avec l’artiste pour bon nombre de ses morceaux. KiNG MALA, sur scène avec son guitariste nous offre un spectacle plein d’énergie, de vivacité et de piquant. Elle joue de ses morceaux les plus connus : Sloppy, Martyr, Dirty Dishes.
Areli prend vraiment à cœur de réveiller la foule et de nous préparer et de nous chauffer pour Cloudy June. La foule s’emballe, saute et danse, chantant et criant quand on entend Dirty Dishes. Le set d’Areli se termine avec les morceaux She Calls Me Daddy et Cult Leader, ses chansons les plus célèbres et les plus écoutées sur Spotify. Bien que son set n’ait duré que 20 à 30 minutes, KiNG MALA nous a offert un sacré spectacle et je peux d’ores et déjà vous dire qu’elle reviendra en tête d’affiche pour sa propre tournée très rapidement. Les fans attendent déjà avec impatience.
CLOUDY JUNE
La tête d’affiche ce soir est Cloudy June (aka Claudia Verdecia), une artiste queer germano-cubaine qui s’est fait connaître à l’échelle internationale grâce à toutes les plateformes de réseaux sociaux telles que TikTok et Instagram, avec plus de 350k abonnés sur l’ensemble des plateformes. Claudia Verdecia était à Paris pour la dernière fois le 13 avril 2023, il y a presque un an jour pour jour.
La foule l’attend, et comme mentionné précédemment, l’ambiance est joyeuse et survoltée, partout, il y a de petits groupes de personnes qui dansent et chantent sur la musique pendant que la scène est installée. Cloudy June monte enfin sur scène, juste avant 21h, elle commence le concert avec les chansons Red Flag et 21st Century Princess qui donnent le ton du spectacle, c’est une ambiance haute en énergie et fun ainsi qu’un endroit sûr pour les femmes et les personnes queer. Entre les chansons, Cloudy June nous parle et s’ouvre sur son état d’esprit lorsqu’elle a écrit les différents morceaux de la setlist.
Le thème de la soirée est la rage et l’émancipation féminine avec des chansons comme Crazy Woman, Kill your darling, Pretty pills for Broken Hearts. Plus tard durant le concert, Cloudy June nous parle de quelques chansons qu’elle a écrites qui représentent le poison (Love under the Influence) et l’antidote (Sad Girl Era, qui n’est pas encore sortie). Après ce moment plus doux, nous avons une reprise de Party in the USA de Miley Cyrus, où Cloudy June rappelle KiNG MALA pour un duo. La foule est en délire pour les deux chanteuses et l’énergie monte en flèche.
Claudia suit ce moment fort de la soirée avec encore quelques chansons, avant de quitter la scène. Ce n’est que pour un court instant, puisqu’elle revient pour le rappel avec ses deux plus gros succès, Devil is a woman et Monsters in My Mind. Cloudy June a délivré un spectacle de plus d’une heure plein de bonnes vibrations et d’énergie, c’était un plaisir d’y assister.

Tonight is Cloudy June’s Parisian concert, supported by KiNG MALA. The crowd is going crazy while waiting for Cloudy June to come on stage, singing along some classics like Bohemian Rhapsody and Maniac. Everyone is singing laughing dancing and really present in the moment.
KiNG MALA
When the evening starts with KiNG MALA (Areli Castro), the crowd is already hyped and ready to enjoy some live tunes. Areli lets us know that this is her first time in France and you can feel the audience wants to show her we’re a great crowd to perform for.
From the start, we can feel that the public is familiar with KiNG MALA and her music, and it’s confirmed when she asked the crowd “who has heard my music” and the majority of the audience raise their hand. They know the songs, and they sing with the artist for a good number of her tracks. KiNG MALA, on stage with her guitarist, gives us a show full of energy, spunk and sass. She plays her most known tracks Sloppy, Martyr, Dirty Dishes
Areli really takes to heart to wake the crowd up and get us ready and warmed up for Cloudy June. The crowd gets riled up, jumps and dances, singing and screaming when we hear Dirty Dishes.
Areli’s set finishes with the tracks She Calls Me Daddy and Cult Leader, her most famous and played songs on Spotify. Even though her set was only 20 to 30 minutes, KiNG MALA gave us quite a show and I can already tell you that she will be back headlining her own show before long. The fans are already waiting.
CLOUDY JUNE
The main act tonight is Cloudy June ( aka Claudia Verdecia), she is a German/Cuban queer artist that emerged internationally through all social network platforms such as TikTok and Instagram, with a following of over 350k across all platforms. Claudia Verdecia was last in Paris on April 13’s 2023 so almost a year to the date.
The crowd is waiting for her and as mentioned before the atmosphere is happy and hyped, everywhere there are little groups of people dancing and singing to the music while the stage is being set up.
Claudia finally comes on stage just before 9PM, she starts the show with the songs Red Flag and 21st Century Princess that set the stage for the vibe of the show, it’s high energy and fun as well as a safe place for womxn and queer people.
Between the songs, Claudia speak to us and opens up on her state of mind when she wrote the tracks.

Later during the show, Cloudy June tells us about a couple of songs that she wrote that represent the poison (Love under the Influence) and the antidote (Sad Girl Era, which isn’t out yet).
After that softer moment, we get a cover of Miley Cyrus’ Party in the USA, where Cloudy June brings back KiNG MALA for a duet. The crowd goes wild for the two singers and the energy goes through the roof.
Claudia follows this highlight of the night with a couple more songs before leaving the stage.
It’s only for a short while as she comes back for the encore with her two biggest track Devil is a woman and Monsters in My Mind. Cloudy June delivered a show over an hour full of good vibes and energy, it was a pleasure to be there for it.
