[ENGLISH BELOW] Humanoid est le nouvel album d’Accept qui est sorti le 26 Avril 2024 chez Napalm Records.
Diving into sin ouvre cet album et nous plonge dans l’univers du groupe avec des riffs de Wolf que nous reconnaissons directement, la voix de Mark Tornillo plus frappante que jamais arrive et c’est un très bon début d’album qui pose les bases.
Vient ensuite le titre éponyme Humanoid qui est un morceau rapide qui me fait penser à l’époque Balls to the wall, les guitares enchainent des riffs puissants et la batterie fracassante de Christopher Williams est au rendez vous. Frankenstein est un morceau sympathique mais Man up deviendra un Balls to the wall en concert à mon avis avec un refrain entêtant.
Nobody gets out alive est un bon morceau heavy que le groupe teutonique nous offre, vient ensuite Ravages Of Time où nous avons une ballade ce qui fait diminuer le rythme de l’album mais la voix de Mark est toujours aussi magnifique.
Unbreakable commence avec des riffs plus rock ce qui nous remet dans le bain de l’album directement. Mark monte en puissance avec cette voix puissante et tiraillée The reckoning se démarque du reste de l’album comme straight up Jack qui est un hommage à AC/DC.
Ainsi qu’avec Southside of hell ces titres sont plus rock que l’album en lui même qui est heavy. La voix de Mark est fracassante et puissante ce qui clos l’album en beauté.
Après 50 ans de carrière le groupe ne cesse de nous surprendre comme avec cet album qui est un très bon album dans la lignée de son prédécesseur avec une grosse influence Balls to the wall. Il y a des bons titres mais pas de titre qui me frappe plus qu’un autre, à titre personnel cet album manque d’une petite touche de puissance.

Diving into sin opens this album and immerses us in the world of the group with riffs from Wolf that we recognize directly, the voice of Mark Tornillo more striking than ever arrives and this is a very good start to the album which lays the foundations.
Then comes the eponymous title Humanoid which is a fast piece which makes me think of balls to the wall era, the guitars chain powerful riffs and the shattering drums of Christopher Williams are there. Frankenstein is a nice song but Man up will become a Balls to the wall in concert in my opinion with a catchy chorus. Nobody gets out alive is a good heavy song that the Teutonic group offers us, then comes Ravages Of Time where we have a ballad which reduces the rhythm of the album but Mark’s voice is still magnificent.
Unbreakable begins with more rock riffs which puts us straight back into the swing of the album. Mark gains momentum with this powerful and torn voice
The reckoning stands out from the rest of the album like straight up Jack which is a tribute to AC/DC with Southside of hell these titles are more rock than the album itself which is heavy. Mark‘s voice is shattering and powerful which ends the album in style.
After 50 years of career the group continues to surprise us like with this album which is a very good album in line with its predecessor with a big Balls to the wall influence.
There are some good tracks but no track that strikes me more than another, personally this album lacks a little touch of power.
