Les concerts reprennent et je prends la direction du Den Atelier au Luxembourg pour une soirée qui s’annonce mouvementée ! Au programme ce soir : Stick To Yours Guns venu défendre leur dernier album, accompagné de Bodysnatcher, Elwood Stray et No Cure. Encore un grand merci à Den Atelier pour leur accueil et pour l’accréditation
J’arrive vers la fin du set de No Cure, dans une salle presque pleine et à l’ambiance électrique. C’est une totale découverte pour moi et le groupe sait créer des mouvements de foule et captiver le plus grand nombre. Une belle façon de commencer cette soirée riche en couleurs !

J’avais très hâte de revoir Elwood Stray et ces derniers m’ont surprise. Plus d’un an après les avoir vu, je remarque que le groupe semble plus à l’aise sur scène et ils nous proposent un set incroyable. L’énergie de chaque membre se ressent rapidement, notamment celle du chanteur qui semble ne jamais s’arrêter. La magie prend vite et cela se bouscule rapidement dans la fosse, pendant que d’autres reprennent en chœur les paroles. Les allemands attaquent rapidement avec leur dernier titre, Evolve, qui est rudement efficace en live. La grosse partie du set est tiré de leur album Gone With The Flow (2023) qui fonctionne parfaitement et qui crée une ambiance bonne enfant.
Si l’ambiance était déjà chaude, l’arrivée de Bodysnatcher va nous faire passer un cran supérieur. Le groupe ne fait pas dans la dentelle et commence avec E.D.A. suivi de Behind the Crowd. Le public semble véritablement s’éveiller et c’est un pit énervé qui se construit rapidement. La prestation du groupe est simple, brut mais rudement efficace. Ils savent comment tenir en haleine leur public et nous propose un set incroyable et costaud. Une très belle façon de continuer la soirée et nous mettre en jambe pour la tête d’affiche du jour.

L’attente est courte avant de voir les membres de Stick To Your Guns arriver sur scène. Pas de fioritures ici, le groupe débute avec Against Them All qui va clairement retourner toute la salle. Cela saute, hurle, se bouscule de tous les côtés et il est même compliqué de rester dans le pit photo pour shooter… La sécurité se retrouve vite débordé par la quantité de slammeurs qui arrivent et l’ensemble semble donner encore plus d’énergie et de force au groupe. Ces derniers sont en pleine promotion de leur nouvel album, Keep Planting Flowers (2025) qui sera largement représente ce soir. Le chanteur Jesse Barnett va rapidement glisser quelques mots au public et être assez tactile avec les courageux qui s’approchent de la barrière. Un sans faute pour le groupe de hardcore qui a su combler ses fans une nouvelle fois.
Une soirée riche en émotions et en violence qui permet de commencer l’année comme il faut, avec des groupes de qualité et débordant d’énergie, tout en nous échauffant pour les prochains concerts au Den Atelier !
The concerts are starting again and I’m heading to Den Atelier in Luxembourg for an evening that promises to be eventful! On the program this evening: Stick To Yours Guns came to defend their latest album, accompanied by Bodysnatcher, Elwood Stray and No Cure. I arrive towards the end of No Cure’s set, to an almost full room and an electric atmosphere. It’s a total discovery for me and the group knows how to create crowd movements and captivate as many people as possible. A great way to start this colorful evening!
I was really looking forward to seeing Elwood Stray again and they surprised me. More than a year after seeing them, I notice that the group seems more comfortable on stage and they offer us an incredible set. The energy of each member is quickly felt, especially that of the singer who never seems to stop. The magic takes hold quickly and people quickly jostle in the pit, while others take up the words in chorus. The Germans attack quickly with their latest title, Evolve, which is extremely effective live. The majority of the set is taken from their album Gone With The Flow (2023) which works perfectly and creates a good-natured atmosphere.
If the atmosphere was already hot, the arrival of Bodysnatcher will take us up a notch. The group doesn’t pull any punches and begins with E.D.A. followed by Behind the Crowd. The audience really seems to wake up and it’s an angry pit that builds quickly. The group’s performance is simple, raw but extremely effective. They know how to keep their audience in suspense and offer us an incredible and strong set. A great way to continue the evening and get ready for the headliner of the day.
The wait is short before seeing the members of Stick To Your Guns arrive on stage. No frills here, the group begins with Against Them All which will clearly turn the whole room upside down. People jump, scream, jostle from all sides and it is even complicated to stay in the photo pit to shoot… Security quickly finds themselves overwhelmed by the quantity of slammers arriving and the whole thing seems to give even more energy and force to the group. The latter are in full promotion of their new album, Keep Planting Flowers (2025) which will be widely represented this evening. Singer Jesse Barnett will quickly say a few words to the audience and be quite tactile with the courageous people who approach the barrier. A faultless performance for the hardcore group who was able to please their fans once again.
An evening rich in emotions and violence which allows us to start the year off right, with quality groups brimming with energy, while warming up for the next concerts at Den Atelier!
