[ENGLISH VERSION BELOW] Les Grecs de Suicidal Angels sont de retour avec un nouvel album Profane prayer sorti le 1er Mars 2024 chez Nuclear Blast.
L’album s’ouvre sur le puissant When the lions die une mélodie calme et assez epic ouvre le morceau jusqu’à ce que le tempo s’accélère et la voix de Nick nous emporte dans un vrai Thrash Old-School, c’est un très bon morceau en ouverture d’album Vient ensuite Crypts of Madness qui est plus lourd et sombre. La partie vocale de Nick devient menaçante et oppressante avant de tomber sur un break lent qui nous dirige vers Purrified by fire où le groupe se lance dans un bombardement de bon riffs c’est un morceau génial, comme tout l’album.
Deathstalker commence par une ballade avant de commencer avec le chant de Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ) les riffs s’enchainent ,c’est un bon morceau de Thrash avec un bon break exécuté par Fotis Bernardo (ex Septicflesh) et Efthimis Karadimas (Nightfall) avant que Nick reprenne le chant .L’album continue avec le titre éponyme Profane prayer bien plus rapide que le morceau précédent on recalcule dans le Thrash, un morceau qui va déchirer le pit. The return of the Reaper commence par une mélodie lente avant de lancer un enchaînement de bons riffs bien exécutés. L’album se clot en beauté sur Guard of the insane avec un chant puissant de Nick et des riffs enragés.
Suicidal Angels va ravir les fans de Thrash avec un si bon album.

The album opens with the powerful When the lions die a calm and quite epic melody opens the piece until the tempo accelerates and Nick‘s voice takes us into a real old school thrash, it’s a very good album opening track. Then comes Crypts of Madness which is heavier and darker. Nick‘s vocal part becomes threatening and oppressive before falling on a slow break which leads us towards Purrified by fire where the band launches into a bombardment of good riffs it’s a piece great, like the whole album.
Deathstalker begins with a ballad before starting with the singing of Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ) the riffs follow one another, it’s a good thrash piece with a good break performed by Fotis Bernardo (ex Septicflesh) and Efthimis Karadimas (Nightfall) before Nick takes over the vocals. The album continues with the eponymous title Profane prayer, much faster than the previous song, we recalculate into thrash, a song that will tear the pit apart. The return of the Reaper begins with a slow melody before launching a series of good, well-executed riffs.The album ends in style on Guard of the insane with powerful vocals from Nick and furious riffs.
Suicidal Angels will delight Thrash fans with such a good album.
