Direction le Luxembourg et plus précisément la Kulturfabrick à Esch-sur-Alzette pour un concert metalcore proposé pour leur anniversaire 40+1. Au menu ce soir, Ghøstkid, accompagné de Within Destruction et de Setyøursails. Un grand merci à la salle pour leur accueil et pour l’accréditation !
La soirée débute avec les allemands de Setyøursails qui arrivent sur les premières notes de Bad Blood. Ce premier titre va embraser la salle et les membres du groupe ont de l’énergie à revendre. L’ambiance est à la fête et la chanteuse va être très proche de son public, avec un bon nombre d’interactions. Les premiers pogos de la soirée apparaissent et animent la fosse. Bad Company va être rapidement reprit par le plus grand nombre et le set va se dérouler à une vitesse folle. Setyøursails nous livre six titres ce soir et j’en aurai bien demandé un peu plus ! Le jeune groupe est incroyable en live et j’ai passé un excellent moment en leur compagnie, ouvrant parfaitement la soirée.

Le changement de plateau se fait rapidement et c’est au tour de Within Destruction d’entrer en scène. Le trio débute avec un titre de leur dernier album, Survival, qui va venir poser les bases. Le set va être plus costaud et surtout plus brutal. La setlist est axée sur les derniers titres du groupe, exception faite pour Deathwish qui clôturera le concert avec un point final agressif. La fosse va totalement se déchaîner, avec des pogo mais aussi des wall of death. Le chanteur va même prendre un petit bain de foule en slammant dans la fosse, après avoir ponctué le concert de touches d’humour. Un set, un peu plus long que celui de Setyøursails, qui est passé tout aussi rapidement !

Le décor se dévoile, la fumée prend possession de la scène et il ne nous reste plus qu’à attendre Ghøstkid. J’avais très hâte de retrouver Sushi sur scène (ancien chanteur d’Electric Callboy). Les allemands sont là pour nous présenter leur dernier album et ce dernier sera pratiquement joué en entier. Dès le premier titre, BLACK CLOUD, la fosse s’enflamme et rien ne semble pouvoir arrêter ni le public, ni le groupe. La communion se fait rapidement et l’ambiance est incroyable. Les paroles sont reprises, la communication est bonne et on a même droit à quelques piques entre membres qui vont bien faire rire la salle ! Le set défile à vitesse folle, alternant entre différentes ambiances et on aura même l’arrivée de la chanteuse de Setyøursails, sur START A FIGHT, qui va ramener du gâteau au groupe et lancer des bonbons dans la fosse, avant de nous livrer un duo avec Sushi. C’est à ce moment que les membres vont remarquer la pancarte d’une personne à la barrière et lui souhaiter un joyeux anniversaire, un excellent moment. Un set où je suis ressortie le sourire aux lèvres, contente du moment intense que je viens de passer !

Head to Luxembourg and more precisely to the Kulturfabrick in Esch-sur-Alzette for a metalcore concert offered for their 40+1 anniversary. On the menu this evening, Ghøstkid, accompanied by Within Destruction and Setyøursails. A big thank you to the room for their welcome and for the accreditation!
The evening begins with the Germans of Setyøursails who arrive to the first notes of Bad Blood. This first title will embrace the room and the members of the group have energy to spare. The atmosphere is festive and the singer will be very close to her audience, with a good number of interactions. The first pogos of the evening appear and liven up the pit. Bad Company will quickly be covered by as many people as possible and the set will unfold at breakneck speed. Setyøursails gives us six titles this evening and I would have asked for a little more! The young band is incredible live and I had a great time with them, opening the evening perfectly.
The set change happens quickly and it’s Within Destruction’s turn to take the stage. The trio begins with a track from their latest album, Survival, which will lay the foundations. The set will be tougher and above all more brutal. The setlist is focused on the group’s latest songs, with the exception of Deathwish which will close the concert with an aggressive ending. The pit will go completely wild, with pogo but also wall of death. The singer will even take a little crowd bath by slamming in the pit, after having punctuated the concert with touches of humor. A set, a little longer than that of Setyøursails, which went by just as quickly!
The decor is revealed, the smoke takes over the stage and all we have to do is wait for Ghøstkid. I was really looking forward to seeing Sushi (former singer of Electric Callboy) on stage. The Germans are here to present their latest album and it will be played practically in its entirety. From the first track, BLACK CLOUD, the pit ignites and nothing seems to be able to stop either the public or the group. Communion happens quickly and the atmosphere is incredible. The words are repeated, communication is good and we are even treated to a few barbs between members which will make the room laugh! The set moves at crazy speed, alternating between different atmospheres and we even have the arrival of the singer from Setyøursails, on START A FIGHT, who will bring cake to the group and throw candy into the pit, before giving us a duet with Sushi. This is when members will notice a person’s sign at the barrier and wish them a happy birthday, a great time. A set where I came out with a smile on my face, happy with the intense moment I just had!
