Après Ghost Code en 2024, Smash Into Pieces ne perd pas de temps et nous propose ARMAHEAVEN sorti le 31 octobre 2025. Cet opus est sorti en autoproduction et reprend là où le précédent s’était arrêté, plongeant les auditeurs dans un futur dystopique où Ghostis prend le contrôle du monde. Alors que la résistance s’effondre, une entité pilotée par l’IA émerge et déclenche une guerre numérique totale qui dégénère en catastrophe mondiale, explorant les thèmes du pouvoir, de la survie et de la renaissance.
NeoFuture débute avec une introduction assez futuriste, spatiale et le chant féminin ajoute un petit quelque chose en plus. L’ensemble évolue de plus en plus, les instruments prenant plus d’ampleur. Une première approche digne d’un film de science-fiction. Villain est tout de suite plus dynamique, notamment avec l’ouverture accompagnée de chœur. Tout s’arrête et laisse place au chant, captivant et linéaire. Il va finalement évoluer dans quelque chose de plus aérien qui donne un bon rythme. Les chœurs reviennent et donnent un petit truc en plus, accentuant la profondeur. Un morceau qui joue sur le rythme et sur la hauteur qui nous entraîne totalement avec lui. Broken Halo débute avec une introduction aérienne et qui nous conduit à un chant uniquement accompagné de quelques sonorités. On prend notre temps ici, les choses montent et jouent de nouveau avec le rythme grâce à plusieurs pauses bien positionnées. Les instruments arrivent tardivement et restent en retrait dans un premier temps. Par la suite, ils nous proposent un passage assez intense mais qui permet de mieux rebondir.

Paradise signe notre premier featuring de l’album et il est avec Elize Ryd. Dès les premières secondes, l’électro vient se mélanger au chant qui est assez direct et proche. Le chant féminin, du featuring, s’allie rapidement à la voix masculine et cela donne quelque chose d’assez profond mais également d’aérien. Les deux s’associent très bien et c’est les notes électro qui viennent faire évoluer le titre. L’ensemble est assez répétitif mais cela fonctionne très bien. Maze Of Fools ouvre sur l’électro et le chant vient s’y poser, apportant une certaine rapidité. On va découvrir quelque chose de profond où les instruments sont assez absents. Ils arrivent après une bonne minute et viennent s’entremêler avec les sonorités déjà présentes. Un morceau qui passe à vitesse folle et qui nous embarque totalement avec lui. Hurricane à une instrumentalité assez brute mais où se découle une bonne énergie. C’est le chant qui vient calmer quelque peu les choses et les instruments prennent un autre ton. L’ensemble évolue et ajoute quelques effets, jouant sur la profondeur. Une ambiance assez différente où tout change passé la moitié pour basculer dans quelque chose de plus violent et dense.
Dès le début, Rage part sur une ambiance aérienne, amplifiée par les chœurs mais cela est assez court. Le chant vient s’y poser, calmant les choses et les rendant un peu trop linéaires. C’est l’arrivée des instruments qui donnent une nouvelle impulsion. Le refrain vient vraiment sublimer les choses et casser cette monotonie. Wildfire nous surprend avec une introduction qui change et un chant qui apporte un peu plus de dynamisme. La voix apporte également un peu de douceur qui évolue tout du long, jouant sur des échos et l’ensemble reste en tête facilement. Dans Man Or Machine, les instruments donnent une bonne impulsion et une bonne énergie générale qui manquait aux titres précédents. Le chant est assez rapide, tout en jouant sur des pauses pour renforcer le tout. Le refrain est entraînant et assez aérien, donnant une bonne énergie à l’ensemble et restant en tête.

Flame débute avec des sonorités spatiales qui sont bien en avant et le côté aérien est très bien exploité. On découvre également de beaux passages électro qui donnent une certaine énergie à l’ensemble où les instruments semblent se perdre. Le refrain est la véritable pièce maîtresse ici et le featuring avec LIAMOO se fait assez discret. Devil In My Head propose des sonorités assez différentes, assez brut et cela devient rapidement intriguant. Tout s’arrête bien vite avec l’arrivée du chant mais on ponctue le tout de riff plus énervé à la guitare sur de court passage. Le morceau reprend vite le rythme habituel, même si quelques passages plus denses font leur apparition. Un titre qui change un peu et qui se montre efficace. First Time nous présente le dernier featuring de l’album et c’est avec LILICO. Le chant est mis en avant, accompagné d’une petite sonorité pour l’accompagner tout en douceur. Cela évolue et surtout accélère pour devenir plus dense, notamment durant le refrain qui va même chercher quelques notes plus aiguës. Le featuring se fait assez discret à nouveau et accompagne à quelques reprises le chant principal. Un beau solo de guitare vient nous surprendre et amplifie le tout.
A Sky Full Of Stars débute avec un chant assez proche et doux, seulement accompagné de quelques notes à la guitare. L’ensemble évolue doucement pour nous proposer une balade intéressante et captivante. Some Kind Of Heaven nous dévoile un chant plus intense, plus brut et on a peu de pause lors de notre écoute. Les instruments évoluent en fond et nous conduisent à quelque chose de plus énervé mais aussi de plus rapide. Prophecy termine parfaitement l’écoute car il reprend les sonorités de l’introduction et fait parfaitement le lien.
Smash Into Pieces poursuit l’aventure débutée par l’album précédent et c’est une idée bien exploitée mais les titres sont un peu trop similaires et cela casse un peu le rythme de l’album. On retrouve quand même des titres marquants et des passages qui vont nous faire bouger dans la fosse.

NeoFuture begins with a futuristic, spacey introduction, and the female vocals add a little something extra. The whole thing evolves gradually, the instruments becoming more prominent. A first approach worthy of a science fiction film. Villain is immediately more dynamic, especially with the opening accompanied by a choir. Everything stops and gives way to the captivating and linear vocals. They eventually evolve into something more ethereal, providing a good rhythm. The choirs return, adding another touch and accentuating the depth. A track that plays with rhythm and pitch, completely drawing us in. Broken Halo begins with an airy introduction that leads to vocals accompanied only by a few sounds. Here, things take their time; the music builds and plays with the rhythm again thanks to several well-placed pauses. The instruments arrive late and remain in the background at first. Later, they offer a rather intense passage that allows for a better rebound.

Paradise features our first guest appearance on the album, alongside Elize Ryd. From the very first seconds, the electronic elements blend with the vocals, which are quite direct and intimate. The female vocals of the featured artist quickly combine with the male voice, creating something both profound and ethereal. The two elements work together beautifully, and it’s the electronic notes that drive the track forward. The overall effect is somewhat repetitive, but it works very well. Maze Of Fools opens with electronic elements, and the vocals then join in, adding a certain urgency. We discover something profound where the instruments are largely absent. They arrive after a good minute and intertwine with the existing sounds. A track that flies by and completely sweeps us along. Hurricane has a rather raw instrumental sound, but it exudes a great energy. The vocals bring a touch of calm, and the instruments take on a different tone. The whole thing evolves, adding a few effects that play on the depth. A rather different atmosphere where everything changes after the halfway point, shifting into something more violent and dense.
From the start, Rage begins with an ethereal atmosphere, amplified by the backing vocals, but this is rather brief. The vocals then settle in, calming things down and making them a bit too linear. It’s the arrival of the instruments that gives it a new impetus. The chorus truly elevates the track and breaks the monotony. Wildfire surprises us with a different introduction and vocals that bring a bit more dynamism. The voice also adds a touch of sweetness that evolves throughout, playing with echoes, and the whole thing is easily memorable. In Man Or Machine, the instruments provide a good drive and overall energy that was lacking in the previous tracks. The vocals are quite fast, while also using pauses to reinforce the overall effect. The chorus is catchy and somewhat ethereal, giving the whole thing good energy and making it memorable.

Flame opens with prominent, atmospheric sounds, and its ethereal quality is very well utilized. We also discover beautiful electronic passages that give the track a certain energy, where the instruments seem to blend into the background. The chorus is the true centerpiece here, and the feature with LIAMOO is quite understated. Devil In My Head offers a rather different, raw sound, which quickly becomes intriguing. Everything comes to a halt with the arrival of the vocals, but the track is punctuated by more aggressive guitar riffs in short bursts. The song quickly returns to its usual rhythm, even if a few denser sections appear. A track that offers a slight change of pace and proves effective. First Time introduces the album’s final collaboration, with LILICO. The vocals are front and center, accompanied by a subtle, gentle soundscape. This evolves and, above all, accelerates to become denser, particularly during the chorus, which even reaches some higher notes. The featured artist is again quite discreet, occasionally accompanying the main vocals. A beautiful guitar solo surprises us and amplifies everything.

Smash Into Pieces continues the adventure begun by the previous album, and it’s a well-executed idea, but the tracks are a bit too similar, which slightly disrupts the album’s rhythm. Nevertheless, there are some memorable tracks and passages that will get you moving in the pit.
