Come and Find me propose une introduction dynamique qui va rapidement exploser.

The American Christian rock band Skillet presents a new EP: After The Storm. Produced by Korey Cooper and David Cowell, it is available starting October 9.
Scream opens with a great dynamic that carries through the entire track. This is reinforced by a screamed « scream » that truly kicks things off and transports us to a whole new dimension. The vocals feel almost continuous here, and the chorus—which quickly gets stuck in your head—makes you want to jump around wildly. It is a track oozing with energy, featuring a slight shift in rhythm and an explosive moment with soaring screams that bring the song to a perfect close. The intro to Lift Me Up builds up, bringing a surge of energy with it. The vocals here are more staccato, moving in a step-by-step fashion, and the overall sound is somewhat more melodic and less raw than the previous track. The vocals dial things back at times and feel somewhat linear until the final minute, when they turn more aggressive. This shift injects new momentum, as do the backing vocals that appear right at the end. Grave Stomper opens with a fairly gentle introduction that builds gradually while retaining a somewhat unstructured feel. The vocals step in to settle the mood, drawing all the attention. The instruments gently return and then erupt with renewed intensity, creating a driving section that brings back the opening melody. The vocals alone add depth and soaring quality, complemented by instrumental passages that highlight the drums. A brief, more aggressive section emerges, adding a real boost to the track as a whole.
After The Storm offers a different atmosphere, marking a shift from the conclusion of the previous track. There is a noticeable progression and a pickup in tempo, with the vocals once again calming things down as the instruments find a new way to evolve in the background. The pace quickens, bringing a blend of dynamism and gentleness. However, this is short-lived, as the second half introduces heaviness and aggression, creating a striking contrast. A guitar solo—with an airy, atmospheric feel—serves to tie the elements together. Heaven Help Us features a different sound, offering something grand and luminous. The vocals set a gentle, captivating rhythm, giving the track the feel of a ballad. While the song follows a fairly linear structure, it quickly draws the listener in. Come and Find Me opens with a dynamic intro that soon explodes into action; the instruments kick in with power, while the vocals temper the intensity. It isn’t until the chorus that the song reveals more depth, notably reintroducing the female vocals provided by the drummer. The track is highly effective and works exceptionally well.
This EP offers a diverse range of material. It includes catchy, memorable tracks like Scream alongside songs like Heaven Help Us, which highlight a gentler side. The collection works perfectly, serving as a great way to tide listeners over until the full album arrives.
