Le groupe de Metal Mongole incontournable nous présente son nouvel album intitulé Hun, disponible le 24 Juillet 2026 par le label Better Noise Music.
Dans l’esprit unique du groupe Warrior Chant, ouvre cet album avec la même intensité et ardeur que Wolf Totem leur titre phare. Un petit clin d’œil à ce succès incontournable mais qui montre l’ampleur de leur détermination. Cette chanson marque les esprits par son aspect fédérateur, qui appelle leur communauté à se réunir et se faire entendre pour faire perdurer leur style iconique. Par ailleurs il est presque obsolète dans le second titre Lost Soul en feat avec le groupe américain Nothing More qui change complétement de ce que l’on peut entendre, au point où l’on s’est demandé si on avait pas changé d’artiste. Ce titre a contre courant du reste offre une autre perspective qui leur permettra de durer. De retour aux sources avec The Men qui se démarque avec son Heavy plus prononcé et assumé tout en gardant le chant de gorge si charismatique. L’émotion vient s’abattre de plein fouet avec Echoes Of My Father, accompagné par son intro mélancolique, son chant presque chuchoté, sa guitare sèche et son tempo lent qui offre une douce interlude avant de repartir de plus belle avec Shadow et sa rythmique entêtante.
Comme son nom l’indique Horsemen, prends position dès son intro avec des bruitages de chevaux pour accentuer leur esprits vif et leur énergie débordante. Un autre virage musical se dessine avec Greed qui ralentit le tempo mais augmente l’intensité pour une expérience unique. Une envie de tout envoyer balader et bien c’est avec The Real You que cela se passe, avec une rythmique soutenue digne des plus grands groupe de Heavy, encore un titre à headbanger à s’en décrocher la nuque, et on continue avec la même énergie pour Grey Hun et son refrain énigmatique, et à ce propos c’est ce que propose Universe en version longue, un voyage musical à travers l’univers et le folklore mongole, et enfin pour conclure cet opus sur une note plus joyeuse, presque enfantine avec Second Face et son rythme très dansant où l’on imagine une célébration traditionnelle avec un peu de modernité.
The Hu nous propose un album rempli encore d’aventure musicale iconique mais aussi unique. Un voyage au travers de la Mongolie qui ne cesse de croitre. Le groupe a pour ambition de partager leur culture et de perdurer, et bien on pense que c’est mission accomplie !

In the unique spirit of the band, Warrior Chant opens the album with the same intensity and passion as their hit single Wolf Totem. It’s a subtle nod to that iconic hit, yet it showcases the full extent of their determination. This song leaves a lasting impression with its unifying spirit, calling on their community to come together and make their voices heard to keep their iconic style alive. In contrast, the second track, Lost Soul, featuring the American band Nothing More, takes a completely different direction from what we’re used to hearing—so much so that we found ourselves wondering if we’d switched artists. This track, going against the grain of the rest, offers a different perspective that will help ensure their longevity. Back to their roots with The Men, which stands out with its more pronounced and unapologetic heavy sound while retaining their signature, charismatic growling vocals. Emotion hits hard with Echoes Of My Father, accompanied by its melancholic intro, almost whispered vocals, acoustic guitar, and slow tempo—offering a gentle interlude before picking up the pace again with Shadow and its heady rhythm.
As its name suggests, Horsemen sets the tone right from the intro with horse sound effects to emphasize their spirited nature and boundless energy. Another musical shift emerges with Greed, which slows the tempo but ramps up the intensity for a unique experience. If you’re in the mood to let loose, The Real You is the track for you, with a relentless rhythm worthy of the greatest heavy metal bands—yet another track to headbang to until your neck gives out. The energy carries over to Grey Hun and its enigmatic chorus, and on that note, Universe (in its extended version) offers a musical journey through the universe and Mongolian folklore. Finally, to wrap up this album on a more joyful, almost childlike note, Second Face features a highly danceable rhythm that evokes a traditional celebration with a touch of modernity.
