When Loreen emerges in the center of this metallic halo, she appears otherworldly in gleaming silver armor that extends to long, thin claw-like fingers. Her signature dark hair flows around her like a living entity, completing the impression that she’s stepped straight out of a fantasy realm – an elven warrior princess with a voice of gold.
From the first notes, the crowd is spellbound. The sold-out audience quickly joins in, singing along with every lyric. In the center of the ring structure, bathed in strategic lighting from all around, Loreen‘s performance is both minimalist and extravagant. Her fluid movements and haunting vocals transform the space into something that feels both ancient and futuristic.
The production design evokes the sensation of being transported to an advanced spacecraft, reminiscent of the blue alien diva Plavalaguna from the movie “The Fifth Element.” Yet when Loreen addresses the Parisian crowd between songs, her warm authenticity grounds the experience, creating a fascinating contrast to her ethereal performance.
