[ENGLISH BELOW]

[ENGLISH VERSION]
The Italian power metal band Frozen Crown presents their new album, The Legend Of The Six Kings, available October 2, 2026, on Napalm Records.
Kicking off the album, Lightning In The Sky bursts in with unprecedented energy and sets the tone—it’s fast-paced and promises to be epic. The song gets straight to the point like a bolt of lightning, leaving no time for discussion—whereas Who Wants To Burn In Heaven resets the scene and slows the pace to make way for the story. Like an inevitable rebirth, Reborn also gets its chance to shine, with its simple yet effective chorus. Perhaps the standout track on this album will be The One; while it features a fairly standard power metal rhythm, it stands out thanks to its vocals and backing vocals. As for Iris (originally sung by the Goo Goo Dolls), it holds its own against the rest of the album—even though it’s been given a slight makeover, it still falls well short of the original.
New hope arrives with Winter Hearts, as if signaling a desire for renewal, but it’s a total failure since there’s nothing original in the musical structure—and this pattern repeats with River Of Time. The only difference is the vocals, which are more melodic and polished, though they’re also similar to Through The Fire. On To The Stars, the tempo is slowed down to better appreciate the song’s structure. And finally, to wrap things up, The Legend Of The Six Kings follows the same formula, this time with a desire for an epic conclusion featuring unapologetic scream vocals that add significant value.
Frozen Crown offers us a straightforward album—fairly average for die-hard fans of the genre—but it will be perfectly suited for metal newcomers looking to broaden their horizons. The listening experience is somewhat tedious overall but the songs are easily enjoyable on their own.
