Le groupe de Metal symphonique italien Moonlight Haze nous présente son nouvel EP intitulé Interstellar Madness, disponible le 22 mai 2026 par le label Scarlet Records.
Un voyage à travers le spectaculaire et l’émotion prends forme ici avec Moonlight Legion, de quoi commencer sur les chapeaux de roues. Chiara Tricarico nous fait une démonstration de l’étendue de son talent tout au long de la chanson en poussant sa voix toujours plus haut. Une suite un peu moins épique mais plus classique dans Lost In Moonlit Symphonies, qui va plus accentuer le coté symphonique, surtout dans la mélodie, tout le contraire de We Are Fire qui va se positionner comme un cri de guerre divisé entre les voix brutes masculines et la douceur du chant féminin, pour créer un hymne qui sera scandé avec facilité par tout les fans. Adieu la frénésie et laissons place à une mélodie et une rythmique simpliste mais toujours efficace avec Shine. Pour conclure cet EP il s’agit du titre éponyme qui se décompose en deux parties : Interstellar Madness et Interstellar Madness : Finale. Pour la première partie, un style très baroque avec le clavecin mis en avant et une battle de chant lyrique absolument époustouflante, le tout accompagné de riff harmonieux, et pour la seconde partie c’est l’aspect plus instrumental qui est mis en avant avec un petit côté celtique qui embellit le tout.
Moonlight Haze nous propose un EP qui est construit comme un recueil d’idées et d’envies, il n’y a pas vraiment de structure solide dans la thématique, chaque morceaux peut s’écouter de manière indépendante sans qu’il y est un quelconque lien. Cela reste une agréable découverte et un groupe à suivre.

The Italian symphonic metal band Moonlight Haze presents its new EP, Interstellar Madness, available on May 22, 2026, via Scarlet Records.
A journey through the spectacular and the emotional takes shape here with Moonlight Legion, a track that gets things off to a flying start. Chiara Tricarico showcases the full range of her talent throughout the song, pushing her voice ever higher. A slightly less epic but more classic follow-up in Lost In Moonlit Symphonies, which emphasizes the symphonic aspect, especially in the melody—the complete opposite of We Are Fire, which stands as a battle cry divided between raw male vocals and the softness of the female vocals, creating an anthem that all fans will easily chant along to. Farewell to the frenzy—let’s make way for a simple yet still effective melody and rhythm with Shine. To conclude this EP is the title track, which is divided into two parts: Interstellar Madness and Interstellar Madness: Finale. The first part features a very baroque style with the harpsichord taking center stage and an absolutely breathtaking operatic vocal battle, all accompanied by harmonious riffs; the second part emphasizes the more instrumental aspect with a touch of Celtic flair that enhances the whole.
Moonlight Haze offers us an EP that’s structured like a collection of ideas and inspiration; there isn’t really a solid thematic structure, and each track can be listened to independently without any connection to the others. It remains a pleasant discovery and a band to watch.
