Le groupe Venus 5 vient nous présenter son deuxième album intitulé March Of The Venus 5, disponible le 20 mars 2026 par le label Frontiers Records. Ce groupe a la grande particularité d’être composé de 5 chanteuses.
Dès le début le groupe montre qu’elles ont envie de tout déchirer et c’est exactement ce qui se passe dans March Of The Venus 5. Le titre éponyme est lourd, frappe fort et surtout reste dans la tête, un très bon moyen de captiver le public en un rien de temps. Le mystère et le suspens sont de rigueur avec Like A Witch, c’est rapide, Heavy tout en restant mélodique. Toujours dans un univers assez obscur, Far Away s’impose comme une chanson au fond émotionnel puissant avec une rythmique plus posée. Même si le rythme s’accentue encore, Set Me Free va prendre la suite avec aisance. Quand on parle d’aisance, Winter On My Skin prend sa place sans la demander avec beaucoup de facilité pour offrir un moment magique. Encore un avec Take It From The Start, qui va mettre en avant toutes les chanteuses, les unes avec les autres pour une chanson TRES puissante émotionnellement.
L’album va prendre un tournant dans son style avec l’accentuation du synthé qui était assez discret jusqu’à présent avec Stereotypes, sans jamais oublier leurs racines Hard Rock, et cela va prendre une autre dimension avec Surrender. Là où Satelite va redéfinir la touche électro complétement en y versant l’intégralité du pichet. Ce qui est rassurant c’est qu’Invicible penche plus du côté Hard Rock que synthé. Avec un solo endiablé, elles imposent leur vision de la musique. Pour clôturer cet opus, The Other Shore met en avant des chœurs de façon la plus somptueuse qui soit, le tout pour un moment épique et bouleversant.
Venus 5 nous propose un album surprenant, moderne et bouleversant. Rempli de riffs, de chants puissants mais aussi de prise de risque inconsidérable avec le synthé, le groupe sait comment faire pour captiver son audience.

The band Venus 5 is here to present their second album, titled March Of The Venus 5, set for release on March 20, 2026, via Frontiers Records. What sets this band apart is that it’s made up of five female vocalists.
Right from the start, the band shows they’re ready to tear it up, and that’s exactly what happens on March Of The Venus 5. The title track is heavy, packs a punch, and—most importantly—sticks in your head, a great way to captivate the audience in no time. Mystery and suspense are the order of the day with “Like A Witch”—it’s fast, heavy, yet still melodic. Still within a rather dark universe, “Far Away” stands out as a song with a powerful emotional core and a more subdued rhythm. Even as the tempo picks up further, “Set Me Free” takes over with ease. Speaking of ease, “Winter On My Skin” slips into place effortlessly, offering a magical moment. Another standout is “Take It From The Start,” which highlights all the female vocalists, harmonizing together for a VERY emotionally powerful song.
The album takes a stylistic turn with the increased emphasis on synths—which had been fairly subtle up to this point—on “Stereotypes,” without ever forgetting their hard rock roots, and this takes on a whole new dimension with “Surrender.” Whereas “Satellite” completely redefines the electronic touch by pouring in the whole pitcher. What’s reassuring is that “Invincible” leans more toward hard rock than synth. With a wild solo, they impose their vision of music. To close out this album, “The Other Shore” showcases the most sumptuous backing vocals imaginable, all for an epic and moving moment.
Venus 5 offers us a surprising, modern, and moving album. Filled with riffs, powerful vocals, and reckless experimentation with synths, the band knows exactly how to captivate its audience.
