Dimanche 15 février, Deathbyromy faisait étape aux Étoiles à Paris dans le cadre de sa tournée européenne. Certaines dates précédentes avaient dû être annulées pour raisons de santé, ce qui rendait cette soirée particulièrement attendue par le public parisien.
À 19h30, la salle est déjà quasiment pleine. Jayden Hammer et King Mala ouvrent la soirée avant l’arrivée de la tête d’affiche, dans un enchaînement cohérent avec l’univers sombre et intense annoncé.
JAYDEN HAMMER
Jayden Hammer ouvre le bal avec Hate Yourself. L’énergie est directe et le public réagit immédiatement. Elle enchaîne avec Obedience sans laisser retomber la dynamique. On sent une vraie confiance sur scène, une présence naturelle qui ne donne pas l’impression d’une artiste en début de parcours ; alors qu’il s’agit pourtant de sa toute première tournée.
Living Dead Girl glisse un clin d’œil à Rob Zombie. Ce n’est pas une reprise à l’identique, mais plutôt une réinterprétation, avec un refrain qui rappelle clairement l’original tout en restant adapté à son propre style. Le public reconnaît la référence et répond immédiatement.
Le reste du set confirme cette bonne entrée en matière. Searching 4 a Feeling maintient l’intensité, et Supernova vient clôturer son passage.
Pour une première tournée, Jayden Hammer propose un set court mais assuré, avec une vraie présence scénique et une connexion qui s’installe rapidement avec le public. Une très bonne découverte !

KING MALA
King Mala prend ensuite la scène avec un univers plus sombre et intime. Dès POSSESSION, elle capte l’attention du public. Son charisme est évident, et sa voix puissante et expressive donne immédiatement le ton. Ses textes, très portés sur le désir et l’intensité des émotions, se ressentent dans sa manière de chanter et dans le feeling général du concert.
Le set s’appuie surtout sur son album And You Who Drowned in the Grief of a Golden Thing (2025). Sur GØD et SALVATION::VIOLATION, l’atmosphère est dense, presque hypnotique. Des titres comme THE GRAND DECAY ou I STILL FEEL IT IN THE BONE renforcent cette impression. On a également droit à SURRENDER, morceau alors encore inédit, qui captive le public dès la première écoute. Pendant DEVOTION, elle plaisante que c’est la chanson préférée de son chien, qui hurle à chaque fois qu’elle l’entend ; un petit moment léger qui perce la mystique de son univers.
La salle retrouve immédiatement son énergie avec EAT THE SPOON, sur lequel tout le monde saute en rythme. King Mala y met une intensité particulière, modulant sa voix entre puissance et jeu presque théâtral, ce qui rend le morceau à la fois drôle et entraînant. Elle rappelle à cette occasion qu’elle a écrit le morceau en disant : « I wanted to eat the world on a spoon and eat the spoon too », et cette fantaisie se ressent dans chaque note, entraînant le public dans une frénésie collective.
À la fin du set, elle annonce qu’il restait deux chansons à jouer, mais la salle avait fixé une limite de temps et ils n’ont pu en interpréter qu’une seule, laissant le public un peu sur sa faim. Mais au final, King Mala a livré un set captivant et intense, mêlant sensualité, énergie et moments légers ; et a réussi à emporter complètement le public. Une performance vraiment très très réussie.

Le public est immédiatement en effervescence dès que Deathbyromy monte sur scène. Elle ouvre avec Vicious Bliss, suivie de I Kill Everything, et l’énergie incroyable dès les premières notes. Avec son charisme incroyable, Romy magnétise la salle ; c’est vraiment une déesse sur scène. Elle se déplace avec assurance, capte les regards et interagit subtilement avec les premiers rangs, en leur donnant des roses par exemple ; tout en gardant une présence naturelle et hypnotique.
Tout au long du concert, Jayden Hammer est de retour à la guitare, avec aussi Suki Wong qui était aussi à la basse lors de son concert.
La voix de Romy alterne avec fluidité entre passages puissants et moments plus intimes, comme sur IF I DIE YOUNG. Avec BITCHFAMOUS et LITTLE DREAMER, le concert ne faiblit pas et l’engouement de la salle se fait sentir à chaque instant.
On a eu droit à des morceaux inédits pas encore sortis comme 2468 ou alors, sorti seulement quelques jours avant, comme BDSM, qui est déjà repris spontanément par les fans. Sur Hollow, Romy descend dans la fosse afin de lancer un moshpit ; un vrai moment de proximité et d’échange avec le public.
Après Guerra, elle prend la parole pour délivrer un message : « fuck Trump, fuck Putin, free Palestine, free Ukraine ». La salle réagit immédiatement, applaudissant en réponse ; renforçant cette impression d’une performance pas seulement artistique mais aussi engagée.
La fin du set approche, avec No Mercy et Crash qui conservent l’énergie, avant XXXhibitionist, avec sa chorégraphie que le public reprend aussi. Jayden participe également au chant sur Hellhound et Pray To Me, reprenant les parties des feat originels. Chaque morceau semble pensé pour surprendre ou provoquer une réaction ; et la salle est emportée du début à la fin.
Même si Les Étoiles imposent la fin du concert à 22h, le public scande longuement le nom de Romy, espérant un rappel qui n’aura malheureusement pas lieu ; comme pour prolonger cette énergie collective et garder un peu de la magie de la soirée.

Sunday, February 15th, Deathbyromy stopped by Les Étoiles as part of her European tour. Some earlier dates had been canceled for health reasons, making this Paris show especially anticipated by fans.
By 7:30 PM, the venue was nearly full. The crowd was focused and attentive. Jayden Hammer and King Mala kicked off the night, setting the stage for the dark, intense vibe that would follow.
JAYDEN HAMMER
Jayden Hammer opened with Hate Yourself. The energy was immediate, and the crowd responded right away. She followed with Obedience, keeping the momentum high. Despite this being her very first tour, she commanded the stage with a confidence that felt effortless.
Living Dead Girl nodded to Rob Zombie. It wasn’t a straight cover, but a reimagining with a chorus that fans would recognize, adapted to her own style. The audience clearly appreciated it.
The rest of her set confirmed the strong start. Searching 4 a Feeling kept things moving, and Supernova closed her performance.
For a debut tour, Jayden Hammer delivered a short but solid set, connecting quickly with the audience and leaving a strong impression.

Next up, King Mala took the stage with a darker, more intimate vibe. From the first notes of POSSESSION, she drew the crowd in. Her charisma and powerful, expressive voice set the tone immediately. Her lyrics, often about desire and deep emotions, come through in her singing and the mood of the show.
Most of her set came from the 2025 album And You Who Drowned in the Grief of a Golden Thing. GØD and SALVATION::VIOLATION created a dense, almost hypnotic atmosphere. Tracks like THE GRAND DECAY and I STILL FEEL IT IN THE BONE reinforced this, while SURRENDER, new at the time, held everyone’s attention right from the start. During DEVOTION, she joked that it was her dog’s favorite song because he howls whenever it plays; a small, light-hearted moment that cut through her mystique.
The crowd immediately jumped back into motion with EAT THE SPOON, everyone bouncing in unison. King Mala brought a special intensity to the performance, shifting between powerful singing and almost theatrical playfulness, making the track fun and engaging. She mentioned she wrote it saying: “I wanted to eat the world on a spoon and eat the spoon too,” and that playful energy carried through the entire song, dragging the audience along.
At the end of her set, she said there were still two songs left, but the venue’s time limit meant only one could be played, leaving the crowd wanting more. Overall, though, King Mala delivered a captivating performance, balancing sensuality, energy, and light-hearted moments, and fully won over the audience.

As Deathbyromy took the stage, the crowd’s excitement spiked immediately. She opened with Vicious Bliss and I Kill Everything, and the energy was palpable from the first notes. With her incredible stage presence, Romy captivated the room; she was magnetic, a true force on stage. She moved confidently, made eye contact, and even handed out roses to fans while maintaining a natural, almost hypnotic presence.
Throughout the set, Jayden Hammer stayed on guitar, joined by Suki Wong on bass, who had also played during Jayden’s set. Jayden also sang on Hellhound and Pray To Me, taking over the original featured parts and boosting the energy of the finale.
Romy’s voice shifted smoothly between powerful passages and more intimate moments, like on IF I DIE YOUNG. With BITCHFAMOUS and LITTLE DREAMER, the concert never lost momentum, and the crowd stayed fully engaged throughout.
Fans were treated to unreleased tracks like 2468, as well as BDSM, which had only come out a few days earlier and was already being sung back by the audience. On Hollow, a collaboration with Party Favor, Romy jumped into the crowd to start a moshpit, creating a real moment of connection with the audience.
After Guerra, she addressed the crowd with a message: “fuck Trump, fuck Putin, free Palestine, free Ukraine.” The audience applauded immediately, reinforcing that the show was not just a musical performance but also carried a message.
The finale built with No Mercy and Crash, before XXXhibitionist, whose choreography the crowd echoed. Each track seemed designed to provoke a reaction, keeping the energy high until the very end.
Even though Les Étoiles enforced a 10 PM cutoff, the audience continued chanting Romy’s name, hoping for an encore that never came; a way of holding onto the night’s energy and magic.
