Le groupe d’Emo/Punk Shoreline nous présente son nouvel album intitulé Is This The Low Point Or The Moment After ?, disponible le 13 mars 2026 par le label Pure Noise Records.
Accès direct avec Worry Count qui met en avant une mélodie très Emo et minimaliste avec un fondu enchainé pour Brittle Bond comme si la chanson était en deux parties. La première nous laisse un peu sur notre faim au vu de l’arrêt plutôt brutal. Pour Sweet Spot l’intro ressemble BEAUCOUP à du J-Rock qui accompagne nos génériques d’Animes. Un titre simple et efficace et qui fait bouger la tête avec une facilité déconcertante et cela ne va pas s’arrêter de si tôt car Forgive, en feat avec Joe Taylor de Knuckle Puck, accentue la partie Pop Punk avec brio.
Encore l’esprit DIY pour Paradox Man, une chanson qui fait moins de 2 minutes, mais intense et extrêmement exutoire. Parlons brutalité pendant un instant avec Synchronize qui vient complétement bouleverser l’équilibre avec puissance et justesse. Retour au Pop Punk / Emo avec Out Of Touch, qui jongle entre variation de jeu et riffs accrocheurs et accessibles. Vous prendrez bien une bonne dose de mélancolie avec Good Times, sûrement inspiré des groupes Pop – Rock de la fin des années 2000. On va retrouver le même esprit et énergie avec Youthfully Naive. Une ballade très douce et captivante pour conclure cet opus, Phantom Pain vient clore un chapitre particulièrement mouvementé de chacun de nous comme une fatalité évidente.
Shoreline nous propose un album plein de rebondissement et dont chacun trouvera le morceau qui correspond à ses tourments du moment. Ce dernier est bien exécuté et original avec son côté très DIY qui rajoute un charme supplémentaire.

The Emo/Punk band Shoreline presents its new album entitled Is This The Low Point Or The Moment After?, available on March 13, 2026, on the Pure Noise Records label.
Direct access with Worry Count, which features a very emo and minimalist melody with a crossfade to Brittle Bond, as if the song were in two parts. The first part leaves us a little disappointed with its rather abrupt ending. For Sweet Spot, the intro is VERY similar to the J-Rock that accompanies our anime theme songs. It’s a simple and effective track that makes you nod your head with disconcerting ease, and it’s not going to stop anytime soon, because Forgive, featuring Joe Taylor from Knuckle Puck, brilliantly accentuates the pop punk part.
The DIY spirit continues with Paradox Man, a song that’s less than two minutes long but intense and extremely cathartic. Let’s talk brutality for a moment with Synchronize, which completely upsets the balance with power and precision. Back to pop punk/emo with Out Of Touch, which juggles between variations in playing and catchy, accessible riffs. You’ll get a good dose of melancholy with Good Times, surely inspired by the pop-rock bands of the late 2000s. We find the same spirit and energy with Youthfully Naive. A very sweet and captivating ballad to conclude this opus, Phantom Pain closes a particularly eventful chapter in each of our lives like an obvious inevitability.
Shoreline offers us an album full of twists and turns, where everyone will find a song that corresponds to their current struggles. It is well executed and original, with a DIY feel that adds extra charm.
